Arkansas HIV Medical Symposium
The Arkansas HIV Medical Symposium, is an annual event hosted by ARcare and the South Central AIDS Education and Training Center (SCAETC). The purpose of the Symposium is to offer HIV education over a variety of disciplines—to the advanced provider down to the novice provider. Educational offerings include such topics as Treatment and Care, HIV Medications and the Opioid Crisis, Behavioral health, Nutrition for the HIV Patient, LGBTQ Community, Hepatitis C, and Woman’s Health & Pregnancy with HIV. This event is FREE and open to all Healthcare Providers. CME credits are available (completion of participation/evaluation forms required). Lunch is provided.
