About
Charles Mills, M.D. is a board-certified internist, rheumatologist, and lifestyle medicine physician. He grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and attended college at Emory University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduating, he moved to Loma Linda, California where he completed his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency training of three years in Internal Medicine and took an additional two years of post-residency education in Rheumatology at the University of South Florida where he participated in research for and published articles on spondyloarthropathy, Sjogren’s syndrome, and fibromyalgia. Dr. Mills has been in practice for approximately two decades, the majority of which has been in Northwest Arkansas. During part of this time, he has been an associate professor for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, teaching medical students and residents on a regular basis.
He also obtained additional board-certification in Lifestyle Medicine through the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
He is also an author and patient-educator. He is married to a dermatopathologist and has three children. His interests include family, out-of-door activities, and traveling.
