ARcare is excited to announce upcoming changes to the pharmacy services in McCrory, Arkansas. These changes will expand the range of services available to the community and ensure continuity of care by retaining the familiar and friendly pharmacy staff that patients know and trust.
On December 19, ARcare acquired S&H Pharmacy at 711 Edmonds Avenue. Operations at this location continued seamlessly, with the pharmacy reopening on December 20 as ARcare Pharmacy. Shortly thereafter, on December 31, ARcare will acquire Best Drug at 906 Edmonds Avenue. To facilitate renovations, Best Drug will close on December 31, and its prescriptions will be transferred to the ARcare Pharmacy (the former S&H Pharmacy location) for pickup.
The ARcare Pharmacy team will remain the same friendly faces patients have come to rely on, as the staff from both S&H Pharmacy and Best Drug will join the ARcare family. This ensures that McCrory patients will continue to receive care from their trusted hometown pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
To make prescription services more convenient, a new drive-thru window will be added to the ARcare Pharmacy (former S&H Pharmacy). This addition will enhance accessibility and make picking up prescriptions faster and easier for patients.
Looking ahead to mid-Spring 2025, the renovated Best Drug location will reopen as ARcare Pharmacy. At that time, all pharmacy operations and staff will relocate to this upgraded facility, and the old S&H Pharmacy building will close permanently. The 906 Edmonds Avenue location will offer improved amenities and additional services to better serve the needs of the community.
“We are committed to providing quality healthcare and ensuring that our patients have access to the best services possible,” said Dr. Steven Collier, CEO of ARcare. “We are honored to continue serving the McCrory community and look forward to bringing expanded services while maintaining the same personal touch our patients expect.”
ARcare extends its deepest gratitude to the McCrory community for their ongoing trust and support during this transition. These changes mark an exciting new chapter, bringing enhanced pharmacy services while preserving the familiar, friendly care patients can trust.
