ARcare recognizes the importance of advancing the pharmacist’s role and the pharmacy profession in community and ambulatory care practice and provides education opportunities for pharmacists that both enhance their knowledge base and promote personal growth. The PGY1 Community-Based and PGY2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy residencies are twelve-month, full-time practice commitments that focus on developing pharmacists as leaders within the profession, emphasizing the role of pharmacy in community health centers. The programs supply exposure to the various pharmacist-delivered patient care experiences within the community and ambulatory care practice settings.
